Spring Vacation Vol 1 2014

Spring vacation was here and we were off to "Beaches" in Turks and Caicos.  The first step was getting through the airport.  Noah and Sophie checking in at the counter.

Though we initially had 4 seats together, David and Sophie got upgraded to first class.  Ah...the only way to fly.  Sophie had lots of room to wiggle around for 3 hours but both kids were great on the plane.

We finally made it to our room--complete with bunk beds!  Noah slept up top and Sophie on the bottom.
There were so many fun things to do.  But one of Noah's favorite's was the "Xbox Garage", with about 100 video game stations for kids.  This was a frequent stop especially after dinner or on a cloudy day.

Yes, that is Noah and Sophie at the bar!  This was one of their favorite activities.  And yes, they are sharing a Strawberry Daiquiri!   They both drank several each day.  Learning how to get attention at the bar is a skill that will likely come in handy in the future!

One of the fun things at Beaches is the Sesame Street characters and shows every night...especially for Sophie.  Here she is one morning by herself practicing.

On most mornings David and Sophie were up before mom and Noah.  We would go for a walk to the French bakery and get orange juice, coffee and chocolate croissants.  One day we made chocolate crepes!  It was fine to have our little picnic in pajamas.

Breakfast near the beach one morning.

We were just hanging around the pool, when who should appear?  The Count!

There was a great Kid's Club that Sophie loved.  Here she was doing story time and singing with Abby Cadabby.
Showtime one night.  Zoe was dancing and singing.
And Sophie LOVED the shows.
Noah, not so much!

Did you know they had Crocodiles in Turks and Caicos.
