Happy Birthday Sophie

And guess what day this is?  December 23rd.  Happy 4th birthday Sophie!

Sophie had a great birthday party.  There is a wonderful story about this great "Teen Titans, Go" cake.  At first Sophie wanted a Frozen cake with Elsa and Anna.  Teen Titans Go is a show that Noah watches on TV.  Sophie knows Noah doesn't like Frozen, so she insisted on a cake with something Noah would like to make sure he came to her party.  We told her she could have any kind of cake she wanted and Noah would still come to her party, but she insisted on this one.  How nice.

The party was at a place called "Pump it up" full of all sorts of  bouncers.

A few of Noah's friends were invited too.

This was the cyclone tube.  You go inside and the wind blows 75 mph.  Pretty cool.

Birthday girl!
Birthday cake.

Girls.

The QUEEN and her court.

So excited!

Candy pinata.

And then the fun of opening all the presents!

On the night of the 23rd, Sophie's real birthday, we went with the Carroll's to the "Double Edge".  Sophie loves it there because they give you tablets to play games on while waiting for your dinner.

and more presents.

And ending a wonderful birthday with Hannukah lights.

Happy Birthday Sophie. We love you so much!!

Holiday Parties

We had lots of holiday party fun.  We had a party at our home for all of David's work colleagues and their families.  Noah was in heaven with lots of kids to play Wii with.

And Sophie made a lot of new friends.

We also went to a holiday party at Radnor Valley.  Complete with face painting.

Guess who??
We did a lot of celebrating, and bought lots of things.  But it's also a time to give back. Noah bought a bag of food for those less fortunate and donated at the store.
 We're proud of you Noah.
Meanwhile, back home, we had a Christmaskah dinner with the Millers.

Happy holidays everyone!

Hanukah

Happy Hanukah to everyone.  Noah and Sophie each lit the menorah that they made.

So excited!

Sophie has been playing hard, celebrating, and sleeping well.  Always with the Maggies.  Happy Hanukah to everyone.

December 2014

December comes like a whirlwind in our house.  David goes away to a meeting in early Dec, the kids get out of school, and the holidays come quickly.  And then we're all getting ready for Sophie's birthday as well!

And we weren't quite done with Halloween yet.  If you would like to see our little Elsa Princess singing Let It Go in her Halloween costume, go to: http://youtu.be/5kchDG0LNRw

School let out early this year.  Noah came to work with David one day.  He came to a very important meeting with David's research team.  He sat in the back playing his iPad.  He was such a gentleman all day.
 Then lunch at Dad's desk
 And home for dinner

This next group of photos could be called "The many faces of Sophie"
Sophie and Kathy made a Gingerbread House

A little angel at the end of a long day.

Twinsies.

We were trying to take some holiday pictures.  Hard to get both kids looking at the same time!  But some are adorable.

Hmmm...let's think about that.
 Happy holidays to all....

Thanksgiving 2014 and more

Halloween ended with all the kids coming back to our house.  Taylor, Kira, Molly, Big Molly, Sophie, Gianna, and Payton.  I think Charlie is a blur in the corner.   We're missing a couple, but all the girls had a great time together.

We don't even remember where this was taken.  But Sophie had a lot to say!

Classic: Sophie, blankie, and 2 Maggies.

Getting ready to travel for Thanksgiving.
First stop, Danbury CT at the Delahanty's for a wonderful feast with family

2 Turkeys

It snowed on Thanksgiving!  It was cold, but some extra special fun sledding down the big hill at Auntie Marci's and Uncle Jimmy's

Dessert!!

Then it was on to Avon.  Breakfast with cousins.

Hugs

And more hugs.
Then back to Philadelphia.  Look who came to visit?  The Harney's drove all the way to Philadelphia for the weekend.  A sleep over.
And lots of playing ad building.

Cousin Jeff and Sue had a party at their house.  All the Girl Cousins.  Of course with Sophie in the middle.
And the boys (most of them).  Josh, Noah, Evan and Andrew.  Missing a couple Michaels.
We had a great holiday with all the family.  Next is getting ready for the December holidays.  Hanukah, Christmas, Sophie's birthday and New Years.  Stay tuned for more updates!
