Rocky Gap 2011

Summer vacation continued with a great trip to western Maryland to meet the Harneys at Rocky Gap State Park and Resort. The boys--and girls-- had a blast. Lots of silly swimming!

For the girls too!And Sophie even got to swim with Grampy!Hi Girls.All this swimming sure tires a girl out.The boys had a sleep over together. Of course, thanks to Uncle Kyle who we think had to sleep on the floor!!One day, Noah, Evan, and Josh went on a dinosaur bone hunt.And since all the boys have birthdays so close together, we all celebrated with a special birthday dinner. Hey Evan...want to race??And one last little pool video. At the beginning of the summer, Noah couldn't swim and was a little afraid to go in the water and get his face wet. Summer is winding down. All the kids are growing so fast and becoming so big. More pictures and fun updates soon!

Ocean City 2011 take 2

We're trying a new blog format.  it will look a little different.  Hope it comes out ok.

So what else do you do at the beach?  These 2 guys (without shirts!) are flying a helicopter (can you see it over the counter top?)?

Then one morning we went to the boardwalk and rode a surrey.  Sophie was strapped in tight, and slept through alot of the ride.

These were our 2 "spotters".  Noah of course thought he was on the Millenium Falcon and was looking out for his "Frienemies"

Bike ride destination:  DONUTS!  These apple cider donuts were wonderful.  They were right out of the oven and so hot we had to wait for them to cool off.  We need to go back there next year.

Then it was off to the arcade for the boys while the girls went shopping.  Check out these 2 race car drivers.

Fun down the shore 2011 part 1

We just had a great week down the shore in Ocean City. We got there Saturday, and Max came to spend the day before everyone else came. There were 2 little kids that were super happy!

On Sunday, Samantha and Benjamin came too. Max is half gone!Nanny and Poppy and Aunt Laurie and Uncle Peter were there too and there was lots of fun.But mostly there was lots of time for cousins to play. There was time to play Wii of course.Lots of eating (of course)But Sophie, didn't we tell you "don't put your feet where you eat!"Of course after a long day on the beach, everyone needs a tubby...one way or another.
