Happy 3rd Birthday Sophie!

Sophie turned 3 on Dec 23rd.  It's absolutely incredible to see her grow so fast.  She is such a fun and happy little girl.  She likes everything, and will try just about anything.  She loves music, and her birthday party was at the Makin' Music barn with her friends from school and the neighborhood.

The Birthday Girl!

Sophie and her "BFF" Kaydence

They were singing "The Wheels on the Bus"

This was a sleepy time song, and putting all the little bears to bed.

Ms Sandy gave Sophie a birthday present too.  It was a harmonica for her to make her own music.

Happy Birthday to Sophie!

Who needs cake when you have great pink and chocolate cupcakes??

Sophie and her girls.

And at the end of the party Sophie gave all her friends a balloon

But the fun didn't stop there.  Back at home there were presents to open.  This one was from Grampy and Kay.

Then after a nice warm tub, it was time to open the presents from her party.

Noah was the "Card Reader"
But then December 23rd came, and it was Sophie's "real" birthday, and we got to celebrate again!  Noah had a great present for her.

Thanks Noah.  I love it!

Noah lit the birthday candle

Sophie made a secret wish, and  blew it out.

Happy Birthday sweetheart.  We love you.

Holiday Party and Guests

Radnor Valley had the annual Holiday Party and we were all excited to go.  Noah and Sophie wore fun holiday clothes.

We went with our friends the Millers.  Sophie and Scarlett had their faces painted.  Sophie was a butterfly and Scarlett some scary monster!

Our butterfly.  Complete with wings!

To see our little butterfly  dancing, check out this video or go to Youtube at: http://youtu.be/NJWOQ6YYjHQ
And as an extra treat, Ariel came back to visit.  She had more interviews.

And if that wasn't enough attention, Mark came to visit as well.  Sophie never misses a chance to have someone new read her a book.  Though I think she was actually reading this one to Mark.
We're having lots of fun this holiday.  Hopefully we'll see everyone very very soon!

December in full swing

December came in like a lion.  We've already had 2 snow storms!  Sophie loves playing in the snow.

It was the end of Hanukah.  Noah was big enough to light the candles on his own

And Sophie loved lighting the menorah but with some help
Sophie is now playing indoor soccer!  She is a natural.  Check out this form.

We brought a present to the toy collection at Noah's Karate.  Sophie was excited to give the bear to some kids not so fortunate.
Noah is in "Kol Sholom", the kids choir, at our  Temple.  At services last week his choir sang great.  And--Noah had the solo part.  They did a jazz version of the song "Tree of life".  To see a video and Noah's solo, go to Youtube at: http://youtu.be/fApJORTNWME
Max and Ariele came to stay with us for a couple days.  Sophie was the entertainment!

Ariel was busy interviewing.  She napped while the boys raced Mario Kart!

And this was Sophie's first birthday present from the Delahanty's and Borges', a few days early , but a really cool Cabbage Patch doll!

See you all soon.  Lots of happenings in Dec!

Thanksgiving weekend with the Harney's and Duffy's

Thanksgiving weekend, and the Harney's came to visit from Kentucky.
Cousins....

This little ninja came ready for action.  Notice the sword hiding in her shirt!

Uncle Kyle is winning this one.  But just you wait

Good thing Sophie was getting enough attention.  She got Aunt Erin to go outside and push her up to the moon!

And Grampy and Kay came over for dinner too.

Grampy and Kay had a wedding celebration, and all the kids got to go. Look how grown up they all look.
