Where's the beef?

Where's the beef?   Noah is trying!  He decided he wanted to try a cheeseburger, so we had dinner at McDonald's.  We're not sure if it's a good thing or not, but he didn't like it that much.
Sophie on the other hand wanted to try pasta.  Mommy made her Pastina (we think this was auntie Laurie's suggestion) , the tiny little pasta with some butter.  Let's just say her table manners leave something to be desired.  Soph, what happened to all the pasta??

Yes, we know you made a mess.
OK...we don't care how much you smile.  You still made a mess!
Noah decided he wanted to draw something on the driveway as a surprise for mom.

Hey mom, look what I made for you!

Pretty cool, huh?

Sophie was a little tired out after that and thought she would chill out in front of the fireplace with a good book.  Check back soon and see some updates from all of our recent holiday adventures!

The NEST and more

Did you know we have a tree house?  Noah and David painted a sign for it.  We don't have the best pictures, and while it looks like David is painting, Noah did most of it.  Noah got to name the tree house and we called it:  N&ST.  The "&" looks like an "E", so we nick named it the "NEST".  This stands for Noah and Sophie's Treehouse.
You can see the signed nailed up to a tree (partially).  Not sure why we don't have more pictures, but here is Noah, Sophie, mommy, and Noah's friend Asher on the porch of the treehouse.  Wait til you see this!  It is super cool.
Our little baby Sophie isn't such a baby anymore.  She is starting to walk and play more and more.  She wants to play where ever Noah is.  Sophie pushed her high chair over to the stairs for some reason, and who would have thought Noah would be lying under the high chair in the middle of the room.
We now have 2 crazy drivers on our trip to home depot.

Of course, Sophie is new at this and her big brother gives her a lecture on the proper way to drive.
And just a few more pictures Noah and Sophie and catch up.

Sorry for the red eye.

More pictures soon from all the fun holidays!

Start spreading the news...

We took the train into to New York a few weeks ago and met Auntie Marci and Uncle Jimmy.  This was the first time Noah and Sophie went to NY City.
Just waiting for the train.

Hey Auntie Marci.  Let's go up the Empire State Building.
It's windy up here.

Keep warm!

One of few family photos.  Smile everyone!

Hey dude, how do you like it up here?

Then we went up to the 102nd floor.  This one was indoors.

Wow! That was cool.

Before going home we went to Time's Square and to the huge Toys R Us.  It was light out when we went in and spent almost 2 hours inside.  When we came out it was dark and the lights of Time's Square were amazing.  Imagine being a 5 year old and walking out into Times Square in the dark for the first time.  Noah was in awe.
More fun and updates from Noah and Sophie real soon.

More fun from Puerto Rico

Sophie loved Puerto Rico.  She loves being out doors in the warm weather, hanging out on the grass or the sand.
Just the beginning of many fun times for brother and sister on the beach.

We think Noah will be a surfer dude.  Check out the pose.

Oh no!  Here comes a big one!!

Waves 1:  Noah 0.

Waves 0:  Sophie 1.

And what's vacation without gooey chocolate brownies?
Ahhh.  Relaxing in the surf.

Beach baby

This slide was really fun.  Noah must of gone down 100 times.

But Sophie loved it too!  She loved the water and splashing around.

Look at this little video.  David was winning the wrestling match, when Noah escaped and if you listen closely yells "SLAM DUNK"!

Fall Updates, "Who's the boss"?

We have been away from the blog for a long time, but will try and do some updates soon.  Here is just a quick update from this past fall.  Everyone knows by now that Sophie has quickly taken over our house and well, basically is in charge (except of course of Noah).  Take a look....
Hey guys...I want color with chalk too!
Nope. I'm in charge of the remote and the TV today, and I say we are watching Mickey Mouse.
Yeah.  Now that's what I'm talking about.  Yeah Mickey.

Sophie is making a turkey for Thanksgiving.

Poppy would be proud of Noah.  He has taken to reading at the dinner table.  Here he is ready his Hot Wheels catalog.
Fall soccer was really fun this year.  David was the "Assistant Coach" of Noah's team, the Blue Jays.  That's Noah in the blue sweat shirt and red hat getting warmed up.  He is #10 and knows that was Pele's number, the best soccer player ever.

Noah is just to the right of the guy with the ball.  He was a great defender, and even scored a few goals for his team.

Congratulations Noah for a great season!
More updates soon.
