Karate and Snow

Both kids have been doing great at Karate. Sophie was testing for her advanced  Camo belt.  This is a "high block"
She was one of 3 kids testing with Master Marvil this day.

Check out this video:  after Sophie passed her test and received her advanced Camo belt, she had to break a board.  If this doesn't play, check out Youtube at https://youtu.be/f65cZHh_Ts0
We were reviewing all the belts Noah has achieved.  Pretty impressive.

That same weekend, we had a big snow storm with 2 feet of snow.  We had a ball playing outside.  Getting warm and ready

Waist deep

Cold!

Back inside, we were getting warm and making pudding.  Noah was making chocolate pudding and Sophie was making Vanilla pudding.

The best part was licking the spoon once the pudding was done.

Meanwhile, indoor soccer was going strong.  This is a very short video showing you Noah's form.  He has been playing great.  In fact he was the 4th leading scorer in the entire league.  Pretty impressive. Check out this video here or on Youtube.

Early Winter

Sophie tried indoor soccer this season but wasn't so wild about it.  She was one of the littlest on the team.  Next season!
We went to a "STEM" fair and they had all kind of science experiments.  Sophie was doing a cool one with food coloring and milk.

Then we stopped at Wegmans for a quick lunch.  Good think someone else will carry the groceries.

Who dat?

The girls stopping for a snack.  Or more appropriately, they snack most of the time and stop occasionally to play.

And Noah and Brandon coming up for air from their video games.

Sassy pants and the dancing pig

Part of Noah's Leadership responsibilities at Karate is to help with the younger classes .  He helps with Sophie's class.

Saturday afternoon Noah goes swimming at Friend's Central.

We had a very light snow and Sophie made the World's Smallest Snowman.  With cookie eyes, candy cane pipe and a carrot nose.

And we turned it into a bunny rabbit.

Sophie had a play date.

Despite being so cold out, we still made t to Menthe's for a treat.
