Trip to Sesame Place

Last weekend was overcast, so late Sat afternoon we got in the car and went to Sesame Place.

Sophie was SO excited to se her friends.  The first person she ran into was Zoe, and she was so happy!

Noah wasn't so excited about the characters, so we went off and got a tatoo.  He got a "Yin and Yang" tatoo.

His he really big or is she really little?

This was worth every penny of admission.  Sophie was so so excited to see her friend Elmo!

We went of some rides.  Noah wanted to go on this one by himself...it's a balloon ride that goes up and down.
This guy was so grouchy.  But Sophie was a little scared nevertheless...

And Abby-Cadaby turned Sophie into a Princess (she already was!)- and tried to turn Noah into something, but he ran away.
She even let Sophie play with her wand!

Noah won 2 stuffed animals, and Sophie won one.  Noah gave both of his to Sophie, and now all three sleep in crib with her.

This was an awesome climbing contraption.  And it was huge.  Noah went through the entire thing...
We had a fun day at Sesame Place!  Right after this picture of course was a down pour with thunder and lightening, and more rain, and harder rain.  We were soaked just trying to get back to the car.  But we had fun anyhow!

We went to the Phillies 2013

It's a long story but we got some great tickets to the Phillies game; 3 rows behind home plate in the "Diamond Club".  We had a ball.
In fact we were on TV for just about every pitch.  This was a picture taken of the TV.  See Noah paying close attention. Kathy was getting lots of messages from her friends telling her they saw Noah and Sophie on TV.

Go Phillies!

It was a long game though, and Noah got tired.
And Sophie did some coloring right in the row....

And colored her belly as well!

Our own little Philly Phanatic!

Josh's First Communion in KY

Cousin Josh was having his first communion, and we all went to Lexington to celebrate!  Sophie and Noah just loved being with their cousins.
Bedtime books

Josh was wiped out.  Noah was still reading....
But then it was time for the big day.  Everyone got cleaned up good!

And all good things must come to an end...  Eventually it was back to the airport, Noah piloting his plane down the moving walkway, and back home to Philadelphia.  Congratulations Josh.  See you all soon.

All sorts of cool things!

Back at the ranch.....
Noah was back at T ball this year.  He's turned into a really good hitter actually.  Looks very professional in his uniform!

His team was The Threshers.

Meanwhile, back at the ranch.....  Howdy Sophie!

How about this great photo for Mother's Day?

Summer is coming!  We've had time to play out in the yard....

And sleep late.

We took the training wheels off Noah's bike and took him to learn to ride!  He wasn't too interested, and was having a very hard time learning for the first 20 min--and was getting frustrated.  But at the end of this parking lot was a flooded turn-around.  We told Noah that if he could learn to ride by himself, he'd be able to ride through the huge puddle.  Within 3 minutes he was riding by himself!  And around and around through the puddle.

Look what (who) is for breakfast.  Hey Sophie...how did you get in there???
Warm enough for a picnic.

Yes, that is indeed SUPERBOY up in the tree.  Look closely.  and yes, he climbed up there.

No words needed!
We had a cookout for the Duffy side of the family.  Sophie was the hostess--and did a great job.

She was helping Karen serve in the kitchen

Serving drinks...

And providing entertainment.

Sophie and the girls...
More fun to come!
