Funny faces and volcanos

We've been away from our blog for a while. Some of you may not even recognize these big kids. Hey Sophie...we see you!

Meanwhile, on the other side of the house, Noah is busy doing some big time science:

A couple of weeks ago David and Noah made a volcano! This was one of Noah's birthday presents that we hadn't got to yet. We made the volcano out of plaster on Saturday and got ready to make it BLOW on Sunday. Noah read all the instructions.

Stirred up all the chemicals to make lava.

Poured the lava right in the top, and .....

The volcano started to ERUPT!!!!!

Really cool. It erupted for about 5 minutes.

Then it was time for some rest. Noah loves just hanging out on the hammock...reading of all things! Good life, Noah!

We'll try and catch up. It's not summer anymore, and we'll update lots of busy but fun adventures soon.
