Hot summer fun

Summer has been in full swing. Noah has been practicing his Jedi skills, and even teaching Sophie how to be a Jedi. He says she is his Padwan (that's Jedi for "protege")The weather has been really hot. But there have been some really nice lazy summer days. We keep saying "it's good to be a Noah"!Summer also means sports. We all went to the Phillies game to see them play the Padres (Noah kept thinking their name was "Pod race"). This was Sophie's first Phillies game and she loved it. But it was 104 degrees out. That meant lots of cold water, even if you don't have a bottle! It was an expensive day--we kept buying water for $4.25/bottle just to pour over everyone's head! And of course, chocolate ice cream! (not to mention cotton candy and other goodies)Cheers to our 2 Phanatics! We also went to see the Philadelphia Union play soccer on a very hot Friday night. Sophie stayed at home since the game didn't start until 7:30. This was the first time any of us went to a soccer game in Philadelphia. Did you know they have chocolate ice cream at the soccer game too? Next it is on to vacation in Ocean City. Stay tuned for lots of fun from the beach.
