Green Belt, Rajah, and more

Noah tested for his Green Belt in Karate.  He is pretty good at this stuff!  He is so fast, he just looks like a blur in the pictures.  Check out the height he gets and the form!

And he passed.  Here he is getting his green belt from Mr Schectel.    We were all really proud of him.

In additon, he participated in a "Kick for Cancer" event to raise money for St Judes.  He raised enough money to get a Bronze medal.  Now that is something to be proud of.

When you pass a belt test, you break a board to symbolize going up in rank...

Back at the ranch....the girls were just hanging out in the yard!

And a little dinenr on teh patio.
BACK AT FRIENDS CENTRAL....
Back at school, Noah's class had an end of the year show.  They were studying India and did a show of Indian Stories.

Noah was in "The Green Parot" and played the Rajah (that's the King).  He gets a talking green parot, and doesn't talk to any of his 3 wives anymore.   This has the potential for a future career!  What stage presence.

More fun coming soon.........

Back home, early spring 2013

Once we came home from Spring Vacation at Disney, there was so much to do!  It was the last week of Passover and we went to visit Nanny and Poppy.  The matzah was hard to find this year, but both Noah and Sophie found it on their own!

Hiding in the plant

Hiding in a cut out book!  Hey....

And a great reward for finding it.

Hey Sophie...where are your pants??

It was almost bedtime and Nanny and Sophie were reading a story.....
Right down the road is a small farm that has pony rides.   Look at this big little cowgirl!

And we call this King of the Rock!

You should have seen this rock splash.  Noah had a ball throwing a whole basket of rocks into the lake...

Looking for treasure

And building a tower......

On the long drive home, we found a McDonald's PlayPlace.  Hey Sophie...how did you get up there??
Easter

The next day was Easter.  The kids woke up to find eggs and a couple really cool easter baskets hidden around the house!

And then we went to Grampy's for Easter dinner.  You both look adorable.
The fun doesn't stop there.  Noah's T ball was in full swing.  He looks like a real baseball player, doesn't he

With his best cheerleader.

Great form!
And you too little princess!

Rollerskating at a birthday party. It was amazing how quickly Noah picked this up.  Look at him go......

Last Disney Blog

It was really great watching Noah and Sophie play together.  Most times Noah really looked out for his little sister.  Here they are coming out of the spider web at the "Honey I Shrunk The Kids" play area.  Noah took Sophie all the way through.

Stay together!

Sophie just seemed to love evrything.  After every ride she would just say "I had fun".  Here she is with Kathy on Aladin's Magic Carpet ride.

Meanwhile, in Frontier Land, Noah was learning how to twirl a lasoo.

Not the best picture, but this was everyone's favorite ride!  The Buzz Lightyear ride, trying to get the Evil Emperor Zeurg.  Noah and Kathy went on together here.  We must have gone on this ride 3 or 4 times....
How did we get to San Francisco?  Magic of Disney Hollywood Studios.

This is a great picture.  Do you see Sophie?  Look closely.  We were sitting having lunch somewhere at Hollywood Studios  (picture taken from our table) and Sophie would sit in her chair.  She kept wanting to go look at things.   So David said to her "why don't you go take a walk and we'll see you later".  So she did.  She started walking away to go check things out.  She got pretty far and didn't realize I was following her....

A little tantrum in the street.

We were sitting waiting for the Parade, and Sophie decided she wanted to dance in the street!

That's not Sophie!

That's Sophie!

And there was always time for a little ice cream

Hey Noah, where have you been??
The last morning we took one more trip to the Magic Kingdom, and David and Noah went on a couple rides together.  We thought this people mover thing was going to be boring, but it was kind of fun.

Alas, all trips must come to an end.  Back at the airport and waiting for our plane....

Thanks guys for being so good.  Mom and Dad had so much fun with you!  We hoped you loved being at Disney!
