Phillies and Be The Match Walk-Run Fund Raiser

The Phillies are awful this year, but we were off the a sunny Saturday afternoon game.  Noah was busy so David and Sophie went together.  Number 1 Phillies fan!

What's a game without cotton candy!

Oh....and water ice!  Cherrry.  Red for Phillies.

The next day was the Walk/Run fundraiser for the National Marrow Donor Program (Be The Match Registry), and we all went out to run (or walk).  We had a team of over 100 people from Penn and that raised over $10,000.  Noah and Sophie were awesome walking and running on and off the 5k distance.  Here is part of our team with Greg, Gabrieel and Scarlett.  Kathy and Sophie of course.  MaryBeth and Brian, and Holly with her daughter Clara.
And this was our whole team.
Sophie is lining up for the "Tot Trot"
Getting ready to run.
Greg, Hudson and Noah taking a break from running.
And there go the girls!  Sophie is in a blue shirt...
Need a break!
Tired after a long run!

Noah's Consecration and Temple fun

This spring was Noah's Sunday School Consecration.   Look how handsome he looks.  And how pretty Sophie and Mom look.

Congratulations Noah.  We're super proud of you.  This is just the beginning

Noah's class.  he's in the far right, sitting in the 3rd row.
Afterwards, we went with some of Noah's friends to Rita's for a treat.
With lots of silliness.
Silly kids, silly moms.
Then later that week was parent's day at Friends Central.  Noah's class is 3C with Mr Dubb.  They were studying American Indians.  Every day they sit around the Medicine Wheel for lessons, some incense, and meditation.
Meanwhile, at Sophie's school, her class took a trip to Israel.  Here they are at the Western Wall writing notes and placing them in the wall.
Wow, these 2 kids are growing up fast.  What special times.

Easter and Other Fun

It's Easter Sunday and we were getting ready to go out for Brunch with Grampie and Kay

Hey, look who joined us!

The kids had a mean Easter egg hunt and Michael, Andrew,  and Elana's house.

Meanwhile, life goes on.  Sophie is getting quite good in her gymnastics class.

And she plays a mean T ball.

Sophie has only had her hair cut a couple times.  But she still loves it.

Our 2 ballplayers!   More summer fun coming soon.

Work and Passover

Sophie had time off at school, and came to work with David for the day.  She was all set for a busy day

She worked hard, and did a great job.

Breakfast in the cafeteria.

Her friend Emma was there the same day.  They needed their ears checked.

And then before we knew it, it was Passover.  We went to Danbury to have a seder.  This is just a little snack before the seder.

A mean game a checkers.  2 against 1.

OK Hollywood!

What are you thankful for?

What a beautiful table.

Silly Mike!
