Visiting Family

We went to Avon on Mother's Day.  Nanny and her younger grandchildren.

Noah and Sophie got put to work helping Nanny and Poppy, and Uncle Peter and Uncle Jimmy re-do the front bed.  They helped...for a little while.

Good thing all the grandkids were there!

The Sophie Sisters hung out together a lot.

Then it was back home for some play time for a few days.

Tickle those toes!

Guess what Noah is teaching Sophie to do?

How nice.

The next trip several days later was to Kentucky for Memorial day weekend.  At the airport, getting ready.
Evan was teaching Sophie how to ride a scooter.

Just hanging out with Cousin Josh early in the morning.

On the way home, Noah got to fly the plane.  (Well not really, but he got to push a couple buttons).  What a fun trip.

Late Spring Fun

Spring is here, and that means lots of playtime.  Sophie loves playing with her neighbors, Kyra and Mollie.  She can see them from her bedroom and the first thing she does when she wakes up is go to the window and look for her friends.

Noah and Sophie are playing more and more together.  Noah has a lot of patience for her and she's a good friend to play with!

Meanwhile, T ball season was in full swing (so to speak).  Check out this form.  We will have more T ball photos and even a cool video in a blog coming up

After a fun day outdoors, it was inside for some hard core checkers.

We went to the Nursery to buy some plants and Sophie very much wanted to take home a couple watering cans. We kept putting them away, and she kept coming back with them.

Big smiles from Noah and Kyra.  Boy their smiles are awfully red.

Both kids love drawing with chalk.  They made some really neat pictures.

We had a rainy spring for sure.  But that didn't stop us for going for a ride.  Thanks for pushing me Grampy.
It was back out to the garden.  Noah was a big help digging holes and helping to empty the extra dirt.

What you can't see here is that we found a frog in the garden.  Noah is petting his frog!

We'll have more fun pictures soon!

Crack an egg!

We're a little behind on the blog.  These pictures are from Easter weekend.
Kathy bought a box of eggs.  Well, they looked like real eggs, but really they were full of confetti.  David told Noah he was going to "get it" and get an egg cracked on his head.  Of course Noah tried to run away, but no such luck!

Noah turn to crack an egg on David's head.

Truce!  That was fun.

Then we got dressed and went out to dinner with Grampy.  First we took a few pictures.

OK--No FAIR!  2 against 1!!
These are Noah and Sophie's friend's Scarlett and Hudson.  Their dad was in car race (the Lemon Derby), so we went to watch.

We got to hang out in the pits and have some good food too!

Hey look--it's Elmo!

Mohawk (faux) and more fun.

We're a little late.  This blog was started are few weeks ago:
It was Sunday afternoon, and Noah needed a hair cut.  So we went to Media to a place he knew could make "faut-hawks" for kids.  Check it out.
Getting handsome

And then some styling.

Noah, you look cool. What you can't tell in the lighting is that is  Mowhawk is PURPLE!

OK....he is one cool dude.

No, he wasn't in a battle.  Time for a shower to get the purple and gel out.

Meanwhile, looks what's growing in the garden!

We got a generator for our house!  So we dug our side bed out further, and Sophie and Noah helped us pick out some nice plantings at the Nursery, and then helped us plant them.

Noah is helping Kathy stain the wood base of the the generator.

Sophie is going through a phase of being a bit of picky eater.  She only wants chocolate donuts!  In this picture, Noah just asked her if he could have a taste--how about that expression!

Sophie at work....
Good, huh?
Stay tuned for more fun and adventure!!
