More Vacation Fun

Noah is an addict!  He was playing his DS video game, and we asked to go to the closet to get something out of the safe.  He didn't return.  We found him kneeling in the closet playing video games!

Hi cutie....

This was sort of a beach.  There was a little inlet with sand.  There wasn't much to do, and the weather was a little cold, so there was a lot of hugging going on.

Noah and Kathy were getting ready for the River Rapids. This was a  really fun ride with rapids and waves that could easily knock you off your tube.  Hold on tight!

You can just see Kathy and Noah in the tube to the right, turning the corner  in a slow part of the river.

Meanwhile, we passed the time doing what else?  Having a snack!  Sophie didn't eat great at meals, but loves her snacks.  Especially chocolate chip cookies.  She,is a little cookie monster!

Hi Handsome!  How was the River Rapids?

The day before we left, Noah got a second tattoo.  His first one had already come off in the water.  This was supposed to be the moon and stars, but it didn't come out great.  Oh well.

Just a day at the pool.  Noah is finishing a snack, and Sophie decided to take a little snoozer in the background!

Noah discovered a "NFF" (new favorite food); a chocolate milkshake!

Sophie remained our little dancing queen.  Here at the restaurant she was dancing to the music and all the waitresses came over to watch and clap.  Instant entertainment!

All right...enough dancing.   Where's my food??  She just climbed right up on the table to get to the french fries.

Back to our video game addict.  We were out for a nice walk by the marina.  Where' did Noah go?  Had to stop for a fix of his DS game.

Then we went for a stroll through the main hotel building.  Another stop for another fix of his video game!

We figured that was better than being addicted to the slot machines though!

Anyone have any quarters?!

Sophie loved the fish and aquariums.  When she saw them she would run over the glass and start yelling with excitement.  See if you can see and hear in this video.

Despite Sophie looking so serious she had a great time!  As did we all. Our trip was winding down, but one thing was for sure...spending time with these two little kids is a joy.   (Usually!!)

Swimming with the Dolphins!

A little stroll on the beach.  Sophie loved the water.

We look at these pictures over and over, and just can't get over how big Noah is.  He had a ball on the beach!

We had been waiting all week for a chance to go swimming with the Dolphins!  Kathy and Noah went to get ready, and David and Sophie hung out and had a little snack.

"What...this is all I get?"

And finally they were ready....

Here comes one.  "Mom...let go!"

Noah has a new friend.

So does Mommy.

We have a good picture of Noah kissing a dolphin  too, but didn't get it on our camera and can't put it on the blog. 

Noah and the Dolphins had a little water fight.  (David took this short video but was holding Sophie at the same time who just wanted to get down and get in the water with the Dolphins.  So it's not the best photography!)

More fun from Atlantis

Our mornings started early, often with a Sesame Street video on the IPad.

Then a loud breakfast, and out to the pool.  Sophie loved splashing in the water!

After some time at the pool, we headed out to the beach.  Just take in these next few pictures.  The kids loved the beach.  Sophie wasn't so sure about the sand at first, but then loved getting wet and rolling all across the beach.

There was a lot of dancing on this trip.  There was music everywhere, and our little dancing girl loved the island music.  She entertained lots of people.  Here was one morning out by the pool

There was a really cool ride called the "River Rapids".  Not the "River Rapid".  Noah will correct you and say that would mean there is only 1 rapid, but there are many rapids.  You ride a tube and go through rapids and waves.  It was really fun. The final score: Noah 2, Waves 12.

While Mommy and Noah were on the River Rapids, David and Sleeping Beauty were out by the pool.  Only one of us got to nap though.

Sophie Faces.....

Now this was cool.  Noah and Sophie were having a conversation with this very old and wise fish.  There were fish everywhere and both kids loved them.

Look out Noah!!  We called the kids "Appetizer" and "Turtle Food".

There were statues even in the aquarium.  These statues really look familiar...still can't quite place it...

We took a little break from the sun for one mean air hockey tournament.  Noah won...

So he got to play Mom.  I think Mom won this one.

Sophie liked the game room too.

At night we were back to "Marina Village".  Sophie got into the music.

And Noah hung out with the Jumbee Man.  He was a little hesitant at first but we think he was just on stilts.

Every night after dinner we ended up at the Candy Store "Oh Sugar".  Show us your sticky hands!
