Sophie went to Sweet and Sassy to get her hair done.

 And to a Mermaid party with her friend Ava.

Camp had Halloween in July.

This was a change from our usual vacation at the shore.   But it was super fun!  And we still have a week left in Ocean City!

Trip to the Catskills and Yasgur's farm

This year for vacation we spent a few days in the Catskills.  We got an early start and stopped for breakfast on our way to Poughkeepsie.  

Our first day we went looking for a nice hike.  Check out the views.

 We hiked up a short trail at Bear Mountain reserve.  It was gorgeous.

We hiked down a little cave and gully.

  Then, after a little lunch, we took a drive to Yasgur's farm, the site of the Woodstock concert.  Who knew that Woodstock was not in Woodstock New York, but in Bethel NY!  Outside the museum, Noah was practicing some karate kicks.

Sitting at the monument.  Behind us is the field and hill that held the 600,000 people at the concert.  It was really cool, and even the kids had a great time.

Skydiving in Philadelphia

Yes, we went "skydiving".  Sort of.  For Hudson Miller's birthday Noah and Sophie were invited to go to iFLY.

First they had to get their flight suits on.

Sophie is indeed flying.  The instructor is just holder her from flying to high and from flying into the glass!

Summer fun

We've been neglecting the blog for a while.  These photos are from early summer.  Sophie came to home depot to help get all the things for our garden (sort of!)

We had a free weekend and went to Ocean City and stayed at the Port O Call.  It turned out the be warm and sunny and we had a really nice time time.  Hadn't gone to the shore just for the weekend before.
