Paris Part II

There are lots of carousels around Paris to ride.  This one was across from the Eiffel tower 

We spent an afternoon walking up and down the Rue de Marais in the old Jewish quarter of Paris.

and Ice Cream.

Kathy and the kids went on an open bus tour around the city while David was at a meeting.

And stopped off for ice cream.  Lots of ice cream on this trip!

Outside Notre Dame

Outside Notre Dame we stopped to have a characature drawn of Sophie.

Then over to the Latin Quarter to walk around and stop for some crepes.

Then this day we took a train out to Versailles.  It was a fun ride.

It was a long, tiring fun day.  We decided we'd have dinner in the hotel.  Honestly one of the most relaxing nice dinners we had!

Paris part 1

We went to Paris!  David had a 2 day meeting during the kids spring break, so we all packed up and went to Paris!  Getting ready to board the plane.

 And we got fly first class!  That was fun.  Sophie in her own little cubby with her the toiletry bag they give you.

 And is this heaven or what??  Video games on the plane?   Made for Noah!

 Still light out, but getting ready to sleep!

 We made it!  Everyone's tired, but super excited.

 First day on the streets of Paris.

 Took at walk down from our hotel.  This is the end of the Champs Elysee.  Guess who's going up in the ferris wheel??

 JACKPOT.  After a couple nights of eating Parisienne food, we found Burger King!!

Tuesday morning....The Eiffel Tower.  Look, Noah is holding it up!

 And Sophie's holding it up!

 We were there early, and hardly any crowds.

 Some Karate under the Eiffel Tower.

 This was only the first level!

 We made it!

 And stopped inside for a snack.

 So on the top were places were the floor was glass and you could look straight down.  David was so scared, he couldn't walk out on it.  Noah was standing on the glass doing some Karate moves.

More fun, end of winter, spring is here.

Spring was cold this year.  David got to see Sophie's after school club show.

And a late snow let us have some late winter fun with the toboggan and sleds and snow.

Noah was the Assistant Director for his class show this year!

And....drum roll please..........Free ice cream for the day Dairy Queen opened!!!!  We were there in line!

So happy spring is coming!

March 2017, Nanny's Bday and more

Breakfast at the Conshohocken Marriott.  Our electricity went out and we had to go to a hotel for the night.

Then we made our way to Avon to celebrate Nanny's birthday.

Someone here is getting squished, and it's not Ben!

Happy Birthday Nanny.

Back at home, it was time for the show!

And purim.  Mom made hamantaschen filled with chocolate and fluff and jelly with Noah and Sophie.
